ED 45 Under 45 is an independent editorial recognition initiative curated and published by Entrepreneurs’ Diaries. It is a media-led project designed to identify and document 45 individuals under the age of 45 who demonstrate leadership, influence, innovation, or measurable professional impact.
The initiative is editorial in nature and is not an advertising feature, sponsorship activity, paid placement, or promotional listing.
2. Eligibility
2.1. Candidates must be under 45 years of age at the time of final selection.
2.2. Candidates must be actively engaged in business, entrepreneurship, leadership, professional practice, or a recognized field of work.
2.3. Candidates must demonstrate verifiable achievements, leadership responsibility, or industry contribution.
2.4. Individuals facing substantiated legal, ethical, or reputational issues that may compromise editorial credibility may be excluded.
2.5. Meeting eligibility criteria does not guarantee inclusion.
3. Nomination and Consideration
3.1. Candidates may be identified through editorial research, third-party nominations, or voluntary self-submissions.
3.2. Submission of information does not imply shortlisting or selection.
3.3. Entrepreneurs’ Diaries may request clarifications or supporting material where required.
3.4. Incomplete, misleading, or unverifiable information may result in rejection without notice.
4. Editorial Evaluation Process
4.1. All candidates undergo an internal editorial evaluation process.
4.2. Evaluation is based on merit, credibility, consistency of work, leadership scale, and professional impact.
4.3. Assessment relies primarily on publicly available and verifiable information.
4.4. No candidate may influence, negotiate, or interfere with editorial decisions.
5. Selection Criteria
Selection is determined through qualitative editorial judgment, including but not limited to:
• Professional achievements and leadership role
• Measurable impact within industry, organization, or community
• Career progression and consistency
• Public reputation and ethical conduct
• Thought leadership, innovation, or influence where applicable
No single criterion ensures selection.
6. Editorial Authority
6.1. Final selection decisions rest solely with the Entrepreneurs’ Diaries editorial team.
6.2. Editorial decisions are final and not subject to appeal, negotiation, or disclosure.
6.3. The editorial team is not obligated to reveal internal scoring, comparisons, or deliberations.
7. Non-Promotional and Merit-Based Policy
7.1. ED 45 Under 45 operates strictly on a merit-only editorial basis.
7.2. No payments, sponsorships, advertisements, or commercial considerations influence selection.
7.3. Inclusion cannot be purchased, guaranteed, or negotiated.
7.4. Any attempt to influence the editorial process may lead to disqualification.
8. Announcement and Publication
8.1. Selected individuals will be informed before public disclosure.
8.2. Entrepreneurs’ Diaries retains full editorial control over content, headlines, design, and presentation.
8.3. The final list will feature exactly 45 individuals, presented without ranking.
8.4. All selected individuals are recognized equally.
8.5. The official ED 45 Under 45 list will be revealed on 24 February 2025.
8.6. The print edition featuring the ED 45 Under 45 list will be available at newsstands from 25 February 2025 onward.
9. Use of Title and Editorial Assets
9.1. Selected individuals may reference the “ED 45 Under 45” title for professional and personal branding purposes.
9.2. The title and related assets must not be altered, misrepresented, or used to imply endorsement, partnership, or certification.
9.3. Unauthorized or misleading use may result in revocation of recognition.
10. Disqualification and Revocation
Entrepreneurs’ Diaries reserves the right to disqualify or revoke recognition if:
• False, misleading, or exaggerated information is discovered
• Ethical, legal, or reputational concerns arise
• Editorial integrity is compromised
• These Rules & Regulations are violated
All such decisions are final and binding.
11. Confidentiality and Data Handling
11.1. Information collected during the process is treated confidentially and used for editorial evaluation and official communication only.
11.2. Data will not be sold or publicly disclosed without consent, except where required by law.
12. Limitation of Liability
Entrepreneurs’ Diaries shall not be liable for:
• Non-selection or perceived reputational impact
• Technical or submission-related issues
• Third-party interpretations or use of the recognition
13. Amendments
13.1. Entrepreneurs’ Diaries reserves the right to amend these Rules & Regulations at any time to preserve editorial integrity.
13.2. Continued participation implies acceptance of the most recent version of these terms.
