In India, the Kwid costs between Rs3,32,000 and Rs5,48,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The engine is a 0.8-litre petrol engine (maximum power of 54hp and a peak torque of 72nm). There is also a 1.0-liter petrol engine (68hp maximum power and 91Nm peak torque) available, which can be paired with either a manual 5-speed or an automatic 5-speed transmission.

The other engine option is a 1.3-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with a 6-speed manual transmission (156hp maximum and 254Nm maximum torque)
